Getting Started with Nice Google Checkout Plugin
1. If you don't already have one, get a Google Checkout account now.
2. Install the plugin using Joomla's Extension Manager.
3. Go to Extensions>>Plugin Manager and click into the plugin “System – Nice Google Checkout.”
4. Enable the plugin.
5. Add your Google Checkout Merchant Id to the parameters on the right.
6. Optionally add your sandbox sellers Merchant Id if you plan to do testing.
7. Optionally set the test mode to “on” or “off” - default is false.
8. Designate your preferred currency by entering either USD or GBP – default is USD.
9. Optionally set an amount for free shipping.
10. Save your changes.
11. Add the tag code {nicecheckout:item price|item title|image URL|shipping price} to your article where you want the Nice Google Checkout product listing to show up.
Place the Nice Google Checkout tag in your article content.
Product listing replaces the Nice Google Checkout tag.
Google Cart floats in the browsers right hand upper corner on site pages.
Google Cart expands to display e-customers items.
Tag Usage & Syntax
Usage is simple. Create a new article and add your desired content to it. Wherever you want a Google Checkout product listing to appear include this tag {nicecheckout:item price|item title|image URL|shipping price}.
Tag Syntax {nicecheckout:item price|item title|item image|shipping price|digital item|weight}
For Example
{nicecheckout:16.00|T-Shirt|http://trinitronic.com/images/t-shirt_example.jpg|2.50}
Tag Parameter Definitions
Item Price
{nicecheckout:item price|item title|image URL|shipping price|digital item|weight}
Enter the desired price of the item for sale. Omit any currency symbols. Currency symbols will be added for you automatically.
Item Title
{nicecheckout:item price|item title|image URL|shipping price|digital item|weight}
Enter the desired name for your product.
Image URL
{nicecheckout:item price|item title|image URL|shipping price|digital item|weight}
Enter the fully qualified URL for your product image
Shipping Price
{nicecheckout:item price|item title|image URL|shipping price|digital item|weight}
Enter the desired shipping amount to be charged for the item. Omit any currency symbols. Currency symbols will be added for you automatically.
In some instances it may be desired to utilize shipping parameters that are already established within your Google Checkout account. In these instances enter "account" instead of a numerical value.When you use your account settings for calculating shipping you are required to use the weight field as well. Notice that we skip the digital item field in the example below by using a double pipe "||".

Digital Item
{nicecheckout:item price|item title|image URL|shipping price|digital item|weight}
For digital items such as ebooks, where there will be no shipping charges or shipping information needed, enter true. Otherwise leave this blank, e.g. {nicecheckout:item price|item title|image URL|shipping price} or enter false.
Weight
{nicecheckout:item price|item title|item image|shipping price|digital item|weight}
The only time you will need to enter a weight is if you are using your Google Checkout account (See Shipping Price above) settings to calculate the shipping for you.
