Nice Article Tweets Documentation
Getting Started with Nice Article Tweets Plugin
*Requires Joomla! 1.5.04 or greater
1. If you don't already have one, sign up for a Twitter account.
2. Install the plugin using Joomla's Extension Manager.
3. Go to Extensions>>Plugin Manager and click into the plugin “System – Nice Article Tweets”.
4. Enable the Nice Article Tweets Plugin
5. Add your Twitter account username and password.
6. Optionally, set a new article tweet prefix, example: "New -". Leave blank to omit.
7. Optionally, set Nice Article Tweets to post tweets for updated articles by selecting the "Yes" radio button.
8. Optionally, set an updated article tweet prefix, example: "Updated -". Leave blank to omit.
9. Leave Include Sections blank to include all sections. Otherwise list the ids of the sections you want to include separated by commas. Example: 3,4,12,48.
10. Leave Include Categories blank to include all categories. Otherwise list the ids of the categories you want to include separated by commas. Example: 3,4,12,48.
11. Leave Include Users to create tweets for anyone who authors an article. Otherwise list the ids of the users you want to include separated by commas. Example: 3,4,12,48.
12. Click save and enjoy!
That's pretty much all there is to it. Nice Article Tweets will automatically take care of the rest.
