 About the CISOA: The CISOA provides direction to information systems professionals in California community colleges; provides professional growth and development of association members; provides an efficient vehicle for communicating among information systems officers, other community college personnel, the Chancellor's Office and other state agencies; increases recognition of the value and necessity of information systems for effective planning and management of individual districts and the California community colleges as a whole. Charter: The primary objective of this project was to update the existing CISOA website to more appropriately address CISOA's online needs. The site was modernized through the utilization of a content management system allowing for content contribution and management by registered users through an administrative interface. Additionally, the new CMS based site allowed for heightened site community involvement by including extended functionality such as member's profiles, upcoming events & calendar, newsletter manager, document manageer, survey manager, forums. Disciplines: Linux, Apache, BASH, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, XHTML, HTML, CSS, Graphic Design (Bitmap & Vector).
